I currently drive a 2018 Fiat 124 Spider Abarth but I'm thinking about upgrading to a pre-owned 2017 Mercedes SLC300. I joined the forum to learn more about the SLC300. Thanks in advance for any comments, tips, recommendations.

I recently purchased an SLC Final Edition. I considered a Porsche, Jaguar and BMW, but really liked the looks of the SLC. It seems to have all of the bells and whistles, which is what I wanted. It's comfortable, has plenty of power and looks good. I think the electronics package is a little dated, but I can live with that. We haven't taken any long trips yet, but our 300 miles round trip to Nevada over two lane twisty roads gave me a good feel for how it handles and I liked what I experienced. It reminds me a lot of the Alfa Romeo Julietta Sprint I had back in the 70's, which is a good thing.

Hello out there (echo)! I just purchased a 2018 SLC300 with 48,000 miles, 2 previous owners. I had a 24 Miata MX-5, 2023 Corvette C8, and most recently a 2016 Audi TT. This SLC is the best of all of them. Luxurious like the C8, handles better than all of them on the roads that really count, ( I thought the TT was the best of the other 3 It was their premium package with all available upgrades. Actually a bit roomier than the SLC.) I can't understand why this SLC wasn't more popular. This a a great handling, fast, and smooth car. Great open air driving with a hard top when you need it. The retractable hardtops on my Miata and C8 didn't give you a fully open air ride. The rear canopies took away from a true convertible feel. I will eventually buy a 2020 SLC Final Edition.
