Hi everyone,
Only use my SLC in summer months, went out for a drive today, abs esp and engine management light on.
Have read somewhere that it could be due to poor battery, my car is on original battery although it gets optimised trickle charge whilst stood.
If I change the battery does the computer need a reset to recognise a new battery?

Bit late in replying as I only joined last week so you probably have sorted it by by now? fitting a new battery is easy just swop it over for a new one the auxillery battery behind the passenger seat keeps all the memory only thing I reset was the digital clock, Hope this helps anyone with the same question.

This forum seems a bit dead and inactive ????

Thanks for the reply, changed battery with no problems, I didn't know there was an auxiliary battery behind seats, you learn something every day👍🤣
Warning lights turned out to be front wheel speed sensor ( bought an obd thingy reader)
Local garage sorted that out👍
Yes, doesn't seem to be any activity on this forum, shame as I use a Toyota forum for the wife's car and it's a good source of information 👍
Thanks again🍻
